When Lucy discovered her son was not meeting speech and language milestones, she immediately searched for help and support to enable him to reach his potential, and to empower herself as a parent. However, she quickly realised that waiting lists were painfully long, even privately.

Knowing first-hand the difficulties parents of children with speech delay face, Lucy vowed to help other parents by empowering them with access to all the services she was desperate for when she first realised her son was not meeting milestone. This includes strategies to use at home straight away, access to advocacy services, carefully curated professionals, and perhaps most importantly of all, community and support to take parents from isolate and overwhelmed, to empowered and connected.
